Thanks for dropping by! My name is Sam and I am a Marriage Celebrant and MC based in Melbourne (but I travel far and wide; Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, anywhere!)

As a full-time celebrant & MC I have helped hundreds of awesome couples start their big days off the right way - with ceremonies that are a perfect blend of genuine, relaxed vibes, where laughter flows freely (and happy tears make a guest appearance!).

Often mistaken for an old friend of the couple, as opposed to hired help in a suit, I am all about a personalised approach that is equal parts fun & stress-free!

To be put simply, I love what I do!

How I work..

1. Modern: We have all sat through an “old school” ceremony that feels like it goes for 3 hours, it's tough work. I specialise in fun & personal wedding ceremonies that are actually about the couple! If you want a Pope Francis style ceremony I am probably not your guy.

2. Funny: Just like life, weddings should have funny moments. I want you and your guests to laugh, relax, and enjoy the ceremony. My background is stand up comedy and podcasting, but don’t worry, this isn’t a roast or dad joke central (I couldn’t think of anything worse!). My job is to be your storyteller, it’s to get to know you both, and tell your tale like we have been friends for years!

3. Memorable & Meaningful: Most of all I don’t want your guests thinking “Could I get away with checking the footy scores?”. Your ceremony should be entertaining & engaging, I want it to tell your story so well that they have no choice but to be as present as Tibetan monks!

Essentially, I am saying I want to put the best-ever ceremony together for you.

You bet it is. This is all I do! I have been full time as a celebrant and MC since 2019 and in that time I have performed over 500 weddings.
Absolutely! This is an additional service that many couples add on. I approach this similarly to my ceremonies - personal, fun, and essentially keep the night moving in the right direction! (no drunk uncles cracking bad jokes here)
Its really so you can enjoy the night and know that everything will run as it should!
You bet I can, I have a guide I give all my couples, additionally you are more than welcome to bounce ideas off me, it’s all part of the service.
Absolutely, one of my jobs as your celebrant is to do this. This all happens in the background so you can concentrate on the big things like planning an awesome honeymoon!
Sure do, its a great one, battery powered so it can be used anywhere. Loud, clear, and great for music if you want to use it for that also :)

Short answer is yes, although the vast majority of my weddings are in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley, I have never said no to a wedding based on location. Depending on location there can be some travel costs associated, please get in touch and I can provide a quote!
I sure do, we can get you 2 married with a small crew wherever you like! I do everything from 5 person elopements to 500 person wedding extravaganza’s!
